I loved my February 2025 cruise on Sun Princess. I paid extra to be in a Sanctuary Collection stateroom, so that I would have access to the quiet and uncrowded Sanctuary Club on the top deck of the ship. This is an adults-only area of the ship that most people don't have access to, so it's not crowded. Service is top notch, as there is a massive staff of roving waiters to fetch drinks for you. I never had to leave the daybed I was relaxing in! I actually preferred the Sanctuary on Sun Princess to The Haven on Norwegian Cruise Lines, as the service was better and it cost quite a bit less. The Sanctuary is also an excellent alternative to the MSC Yacht Club and to staying in a suite on Royal Caribbean. I was definitely impressed with this new, modern Love Boat. Besides the Sanctuary, it had the best buffet I have ever experienced in my 69 cruises with many of the major cruise lines... the best pizza I've ever had on a cruise ship, and the best service by roving waiters taking drink orders. They sure have come a long way since I last cruised with Princess Cruise Line! I'll show you a special part of the ship called The Sanctuary... A quiet, luxurious, relaxing place... That most passengers don't have access to. And I'll tell you why I actually liked it better than The Haven on Norwegian Cruise Line. If you're an affluent cruiser who can afford to pay a little extra in order to get a quiet, relaxing, and uncrowded cruise experience with a high level of service... you should definitely consider cruising on Sun Princess in a Sanctuary collection stateroom.
