Today’s the big day — Julie and I are boarding the Celebrity Millennium right here in Yokohama, Japan, and we cannot wait to start this cruise adventure! There’s always something special about embarkation day: the excitement, the first steps onto the ship, and of course that moment when you see the atrium and think, “Yes… we’re home for the next 28 days!” We begin our journey at Yokohama’s Osanbashi Cruise Terminal, one of the most beautiful cruise terminals on the planet. Smooth check-in, friendly crew, and the classic excitement of watching the ship come into view — it all adds to that perfect first-day feeling. Once onboard, we explore the Celebrity Millennium, checking out the restaurants, bars, pool deck, and those iconic Millennium-class touches that make this ship so loved by travellers. We grab a bite, meet a few crew members, and settle into cruise life as Japan fades into the background and the adventure begins. Fun fact: Celebrity Millennium was one of the first ships to be fully “Revolutionised,” meaning upgraded from bow to stern — new cabins, refreshed décor, and some seriously stylish spaces.
