About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

Why do they call it Table Mountain? Its magnificent presence and flat top resembles that of a table top. Why do they call it a tablecloth on Table Mountain? When the clouds roll in and cover the massive flat top of the mountain it resembles a tablecloth on a table. We are on the Queen Mary 2 sailing around the world on cruise ships. One of the segment stops for the Queen was a two night stay in the port of Cape Town, South Africa. We purchased a Hop on Hop off bus pass for 2 days and ventured about Cape Town. Our first day on the bus we went to Table Mountain and all we can say is WOW!!!!! Come along and see our journey on top of Table Mountain. After Table Mountain we hopped back on the bus and toured the various neighborhoods of Cape Town. One of our favorites was Camps Bay. However, they were all equally amazing in different ways, here are the other neighborhoods. V&A Waterfront, Bo-Kaap, Woodstock, Kalk Bay, Constantia, Muizenberg. Cape Town is an amazing place to visit either by ship or air. It will not disappoint! Please consider watching our entire Cunard Playlist to see more of this magnificient oceanliner as well as some of the adventures we had at each of the ports of call. This journey started in NY in January 2024 when we boarded the Queen Mary 2 and sailed to Southampton, England - Tenerife, Spain - Walvis Bay, Namibia - Port Elizabeth, Capetown & Durban, South Africa - Reunion Island - Mauritius Island and then finally Perth, Australia. We stayed in an inside cabin (check out our cabin tour & review video) for 45 days that included a Transatlantic Crosssing and 2 Segments of her World Cruise. With many interesting changes in weather, sickness, safety protocols, breaking-news LIVE updates, as well as amazing ports of call with two overnight stops we hope you find our videos both informative and fun to watch. And as always... Thanks for coming along on our journey!
