On September 5, 2022, Carnival Celebration officially began her sea trials. The shipyard and Carnival Cruise Lines are in the final stretch preparing to to launch their newest cruise ship this fall. From the first moment of the video, you can tell we're excited by this cruise news! We celebrate the news and also talk about some of the biggest changes to the cruise ship. While the Carnival Celebration is an XL-class (Excel-class) ship, and a sister to Mardi Gras, there are some BIG changes you can expect to see on this ship. Of course, she'll have Carnival staples like Blue Iguana, Guy's Burger Joint, and the newest venue Big Chicken - but she'll look quite a bit different than Mardi Gras in several places across the ship. From new bars, layouts, and even zones (neighborhoods), Carnival Celebration promises to deliver continued innovation from Carnival Cruise Lines.
