The port at Amber Cove DR is far more beautiful than La Romana, the previous day stop for the Horizon in the DR. We ventured outside on our own and felt safe. We exited the main entrance and walked to the right along the main road for about 15 minutes into Maimon. We went to Johan and picked out two 1 1/2 lbs fresh Red Snappers. We had it prepared, 1 fried and the other grilled and it turned out to be the best meal we had for 8 days!
