It's finally time for Carnival's new 181,808-ton Mardi Gras to enter service, and Friday (July 30, 2021) they welcomed their first visitors aboard to sample what the new ship has to offer. At the event, they called "Sip & Sea" visitors saw the ship's highest-profile new feature, BOLT, the first roller coaster at sea. They also had the opportunity to sample fare from the ship's new specialty restaurants and enjoy cocktails from the lounges. The ship is entering service on Saturday (July 31, 2021) with seven-night cruises from Port Canaveral. Stay with the video through the first scene, with Carnival president Christine Duffy.
