We embarked on the Carnival Sunrise on November 30th, 2019 for a fun-filled 5-day cruise to the Bahamas (Princess Cayes, Nassau & Freeport)! We stayed at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina Hotel prior to boarding the Sunrise, which is a great hotel that overlooks the cruise port. Day 5 was a port day where we visited Freeport, which is still recovering from Hurricane Dorian. We took a taxi to the beach where we enjoyed the beautiful beaches of Freeport,along with Rum punch, snorkeling and surfboarding! Back on board we tried the Carnival Deli, the Alchemy Bar and Piano bar. Did I mention Baked Alaska and even meeting a profession whistler?! Come join us!
