We are just returning from a trip of a lifetime 23 days touring Italy, Croatia, and Montenegro that we are calling The Best of Italy and Croatia. Join us as we travel by land and cruise ship to some very exciting and beautiful ports. Each episode of this series will share the many different regions of the Adriatic Sea region and the beautiful country of Italy. In this episode we visit Trieste Italy. The city of Trieste lies at the intersection of Latin, Slavic and Germanic cultures, where Central Europe meets the Mediterranean Sea, and is home to diverse ethnic groups and religious communities. The city is historic and beautiful, but it is lacking in activities available to cruise ship tourists. The city of Trieste does not even get a mention or listing in the index of Rick Steves Italy book. This is the reason that we decided to do the Pasta Making Class.
