We were nearing the end of our Celebrity Constellation Best of Italy and Croatia cruise and we made a port of call to Salerno Italy on Sunday October 6th where we went off into the countryside with our driver named Carmine. We toured the Pompei Ruins and then we had lunch and wine at Cantina Del Vesuvio on a rooftop overlooking Mount Vesuvius. It was a wonderful day, but I have to say the biggest surprise of the day was our sailaway from Salerno and the beautiful send off or Bon Voyage that the locals gave us.
