This ship class is the one that Celebrity cruises' introduced to innovate and expand the potential of their ships - with a large pool deck with many views to the expanse of ocean and outward to your cruise ports, and many exciting creative new venues and spaces to meet up with friends on board. The Magic Carpet is Celebrity Cruises' highly innovative space that is cantilevered out beyond the traditional boundaries of the ship. It's a bar, it's a restaurant, it's a great meeting place . . and it also heads down to Deck 2 to Destination Gateway to make boarding a tender a breeze! The activities and ship features include a lot of live music, the always popular Martini Bar and chandelier light show in the expansive Grand Plaza, along with activities for family members of all ages (check out Camp at Sea and The Basement for youth activities throughout the cruise). The Sunset Bar is the very popular venue at the top deck aft of the ship - it's not to be missed on Celebrity Edge. Cafe al Bacio, the ship's coffee shop and bakery, is expanded with a wide array of seating in the Cafe, as well as along cross the walkway with great views into the Grand Plaza. Check out the amazing Celebrity Theater - the multi-media sights and sounds from the all-new shows will be crowd-pleasers. The Theater brings performances closer to the audience, and the multi-media backdrop behind the stage is world class. Guests enjoy activities day and evening - and well into the night - at the popular venue on Decks 4 and 5 called The Club. The Club features trivia, games, guest speakers and music . . .and then hosts bands and performances well into the evening. It includes a large bar and a lot of comfortable seating. Guests dine in any of the four complimentary main dining rooms on Celebrity Edge, each with its own regional theme: Cypress, Cosmopolitan, Tuscan and Normandie. The Oceanview Cafe is expansive and offers varied cuisines for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night eating. In addition, the Edge Class ships have numerous specialty restaurant options - check out the Fine Cut Steakhouse, Raw on Five, The Rooftop Garden Grill, Le Petit Chef and Eden for some high quality food options. Other exclusive restaurants on Celebrity Edge include Blu for AquaClass guests and Luminae for the Retreat/Suite guests. The Retreat Lounge is another beautiful, spacious place to relax and meet up with fellow travelers.
