Creator's Key Takeaways

We're continuing to ask the big question, is this sleek ship the best value in cruising or do you really get what you paid for with MSC?

The one slide that you get on with a tube, inner tube, that you can go as a double or single, that's the best one. Yes. That one is super fast.

Overall spa, what do you would you do it again? Probably not on this ship. I don't think it was necessarily worth it.

The entertainment here on MSC Seascape has been very decent to very good. And that's very surprising for us based on everything that we read before we got on the ship.

Creator's Tips & Advice

Walk on the ocean side of the road when returning to the ship from Cozumel for good views and photo ops.
If you want to try the water slides on MSC Seascape, sign the waiver and get a wristband first.
Book the thermal suite upgrade on a ship with better facilities than the MSC Seascape.
Bring cash if you want to buy Mexican vanilla, as it is a popular item in port shops.

YouTube Video Description

Our FIRST EVER MSC Cruise is nearing the end, but we aren't slowing down for Day 6 in Cozumel, Mexico! We’ve visited this port many times before, but for this trip, we decided to dodge the usual tourist crowds near the pier and head just north of downtown. We found a local restaurant, called Poncho's Backyard for some of the best authentic food and flavors we’ve had on the island, proving that sometimes wandering a little further off the beaten path really pays off. It was the perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon in one of our favorite Mexican ports. The adventure continued back on board the MSC Seascape as we finally conquered the top deck amenities. We headed straight for the Pirate’s Cove Aquapark to test out the massive waterslides before retreating to the Aurea Spa for some much-needed relaxation in the Thermal Suite. After a full day of sun and speed, we caught another high-energy production show in the Chora Theatre and ended the night at the Big Texas Party on the pool deck. Seeing how this Italian cruise line handles a Galveston-themed hoedown was definitely a highlight of the sailing! We’re continuing to ask the big question: Is this sleek ship the best value in cruising, or do you really get what you pay for with MSC? #MSCSeascape #MSCCruises #MSCCruise #CruiseVacation #CruiseTravel #TravelCouple #CruiseShip #Cozumel #MSCSeascapeGalveston #CruiseTips #CruiseVlog We took a 7-night cruise aboard MSC Seascape in January 2026. This cruise went to Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Roatan. We booked this cruise through Chase Travel and had a Deluxe Ocean View Balcony Stateroom on deck 14.
