Then Princess Cruises' "Crown Princess" departed from the 'Ocean' Terminal at 16:54 heading for Las Palmas. This was her first visit of 2013 and will working regularly out of Southampton for the summer season along with her fleetmate "Caribbean Princess". Finally, "Norwegian Breakaway" departed from the 'City' Terminal at 17:22 heading for New York. On her way out she exchanged horn salutes with TUI Cruises' "Mein Schiff 1" who was moored at the 'QEII' Terminal. "Mein Schiff 1" was due to sail at 20:00 and later left at 20:07 heading for Le Havre. "Norwegian Breakaway's" sister ship "Norwegian Getaway" is due to visit Southampton in January 2014.
