After a nice 7 day Western Caribbean cruise we disembarked the Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas cruise ship in Galveston, Texas. See what the process was like. The crew members pretty much want guests to leave as soon as it is convenient so they can accommodate the thousands of new passengers boarding in a few short hours. If you don't want to wake up early for breakfast, you can, the night before, bring some food and store it in the fridge of your cabin. Room service is nice but they usually stop delivering earlier. It was a pretty smooth disembarkation day, though unfortunately a passenger was injured falling near the gangway area and that delayed things. This was from our February 2019 cruise on the Liberty. Please feel free to comment or ask questions if you have any regarding the process of getting off the ship.
