Cruise Stop Mt. Fuji (Shimizu) Japan | Japan Cruise Ship Day Tour During this half-day tour, you follow the waters of Mt Fuji with a visit to 3 amazing and very different tour stops. Mt. Fuji disappears and reappears through out the day as the weather changes. Luckily this day provided us plenty of opportunity to see the Volcano. Many cruise ships make this a port stop. This tour was booked thru the Celebrity Millennium in October of 2023. Note: The order of the tour may change depending on the day Practical: Bathrooms, limited shopping and food venues were available at some point during each stop. Stop 1: Shiraito Waterfall, where you can watch water cascading some 65 feet like threads of silk. Stop 2: Hongu Sengen Taisha, a shogun-built ancient shrine built in 806 AD. Stop 3: Miho-no-Matsubara, walk the ancient pine grove famous for its mountain vistas and gnarled trees. The walk ends at the seaside overlooking the blue waters of the sea.
