We arrive at Grand Cayman Island on day 4 of our cruise. After taking a tender boat into port, we hang out a bit waiting for our bus ride. Taking a bus through Georgetown is interesting! Not only is it a beautiful Caribbean community, but the culture is somewhat unique and with an informative driver you can really learn a lot about the area. The Cayman Sea Turtle farm is the only one in the world, yep you heard me right... in the WORLD. That in itself is pretty amazing and worth visiting at least once. You get to see how they breed and raise the turtles and you also get to hold, feed and swim with them. In addition to the turtles there is a beautiful aviary full of colorful tropical birds. We end this video walking up to the beach at the lagoon to grab snorkel gear and get ready to swim with the turtles and fish, and maybe see a shark...
