Good morning folks. A major court ruling has made the wearing of a face mask no longer mandatory when on an airplane when in the United States. Many airlines have followed up with the ruling making the wearing of face masks optional. Announcements were made mid flight and masks started to come off passengers while flight attendants went up and down aisles collecting any mask people wanted to dispose. What about airport terminals, There is no longer a legal requirement to wear a face mask while inside a terminal building, but I have not seen reports yet on how this is occurring in many major cities, some of which has reinstituted mask mandates with the recent uptick of infection due to BA.2 We have yet to see how this affects cruise terminals, but if airport terminals are no longer under legal requirement to have masks, one can assume the same will be for cruise port terminals. We also do not know how local city ordinances will affect these terminals as of yet. More to come!
