Royal Caribbean is going to be the first major cruise line serving American and Canadian passengers to return to cruising... with two ships starting up cruises again this summer. If you like a cruise ship vacation as much as I do -- and I like them so much I've been on 51 cruises! -- you'll want to pay close attention to what Royal Caribbean is offering this summer. It will be especially attractive to American and Canadian cruise fanatics. Royal Caribbean has committed two cruise ships, Adventure Of The Seas and Vision Of The Seas, for the first North American cruises following the global pandemic. Because the CDC is still not currently allowing cruise ships to sail from North American ports such as Miami, Ft Lauderdale, Galveston, and Los Angeles... Adventure Of The Seas will be cruising out of Nassau in the Bahamas and Vision Of The Seas will be sailing out of Bermuda. This makes it easy for North American passengers to fly to the port of embarkation, and cruise to the Bahamas or the Caribbean. The most exciting part of the news is that many of these cruises will be visiting Royal Caribbean's private island in the Bahamas, Coco Cay... and that some of the cruises will even be spending two days at Coco Cay instead of just one. This is fantastic news because one day at Coco Cay is not enough time to take in all the island has to offer, such as the amazing waterpark that features the tallest waterslide in North America. In fact, there are 13 waterslides on Coco Cay... something for people of all ages. Also, there's the Caribbean's largest wave pool, a 1600 foot zip line, and a huge pool with a swim-up bar. In fact, it's the largest fresh-water pool in the Caribbean. At Coco Cay you also have your choice from several relaxing beaches with powdery sand, warm tropical water, and barbecue food available for lunch. Chill island is the budget-friendly beach that most vacationers will choose to spend the day at. But for the ultimate upscale beach experience, there's the Coco Beach Club featuring an infinity pool overlooking the beach. Also, if you rent a private beach cabana, you'll have a dedicated attendant to take care of all your needs. If you're one of those people that can afford the very best, check out the over-the-water floating cabanas which feature freshwater showers and a private slide to drop you in to the water! If you're interested in booking a cruise, feel free to use the services of my travel agent, Caitlin Gallagher, the owner of Ambren Travel. Her services don't cost you anything at all, as her fees are paid for by the cruise lines. She can take a lot of the worry of properly making your cruise arrangements to make sure that you don't make any rookie mistakes. And if anything goes wrong with your vacation, it's much better off to have Caitlin battle with the cruise line than to have to do it yourself. The Ambren Travel web site is at www.ambrentravel.com You can email Caitlin directly at caitlin@ambrentravel.com or call her at 1-904-364-5774.
