Day 2 of Southampton's busy weekend of Cruise Ships was on Sunday 20th August 2017. Unlike the previous day which had glorious weather, today was the complete opposite - wet and windy. Of the five Cruise Ships that were in Southampton, I only managed to see three of them sail. One I bailed on because of the weather and the other wasn't due to sail until later in the evening. The ships seen departing are as follows... - "Independence of the Seas (Royal Caribbean International) from the City Cruise Terminal at 16:17 heading off on a 13-night cruise to the Mediterranean. - "Arcadia" (P&O Cruises) from the Ocean Cruise Terminal at 16:37 heading off on a 14-night cruise to Scandinavia and Russia. - "Aurora" (P&O Cruises) from the Mayflower Cruise Terminal at 16:40 heading off on a 7-night cruise to Norway. The ships that sailed after I left were as follows... - "Braemar" (Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines) from Berth 102 at 17:29 on a 9-night cruise to the Rivers of France. - "Queen Elizabeth" (CUNARD) from the Queen Elizabeth II Cruise Terminal at 20:37 on a 5-night cruise to Western Europe. Viewed from the Town Quay.
