Thursday 31st August 2017 saw a large number of different ship movements in Southampton Docks. First of all we see CUNARD's "Queen Mary 2" departing from the Ocean Cruise Terminal shortly after 5pm on an Transatlantic Crossing for New York. Next to leave was the small container ship "Huelin Dispatch" which was heading for Jersey and then the Car Carrier "Dover Highway" which was heading for Bristol. Lastly we see the Royal Navy's HMS "Albion" once again, this time departing from Marchwood having completed her visit. She departed just after 6:30pm heading off to Plymouth. Also in the port was a very rare visitor - FTI Cruises' "Berlin" making her final port-of-call on a 15-night British Isles cruise before returning to Bremerhaven. She was meant to depart at 18:30 but didn't leave until 19:43 by which time I'd given up waiting. Viewed from the Town Quay.
