Icon Of The Seas is a new cruise ship, currently under construction, and scheduled to go in to service in January of 2024. She will be (by far) the largest cruise ship in the world, carrying about 700 more people than the current largest cruise ship, at full capacity. In this new travel video, I show you artist renderings and computer generated animations of what the new ship will look like. Also, to help put it all in context, I show you examples of some existing cruise ships and how their features have been re-imagined and improved upon in Royal Caribbean's next-generation ship. Icon Of The Seas will be (in many ways) similar to Oasis-class cruise ships such as Harmony Of The Seas and Symphony Of The Seas. But Icon Of The Seas is NOT an Oasis-class ship. She is the first of an entirely new class of ships for Royal Caribbean. Yes, there are definitely similarities between the two... but Icon Of The Seas has a tremendous number of improvements and innovations. Among the features shown in this video are: The Aquadome Thill Island, the largest waterpark on any ship in the world Chill Island, a relaxing area of the ship, including the largest pool at sea. Surfside, an area of the ship for families with children. Central Park. The Grove, an outdoor area for the exclusive use of suite guests. #cruiseship #cruising #royalcaribbean #iconoftheseas Video Chapters 0:00 Intro 0:53 Not Oasis Class! 2:53 Aquadome 6:14 Water Park 10:59 Pools 15:50 Central Park 19:08 LNG 19:44 Coco Cay
