YouTube Video Description

We are big fans of the vibe of Key West, Florida! So we had to check out an island that is considered 'Key West of the North'!! This is Put-In-Bay, Ohio which is an island in Lake Erie. This island can only be reached by ferry so our Winnebago Travato took her first ride on a boat! Once on the island, the favorite mode of transportation is by golf cart. So we parked our RV near the ferry dock and rented one. This was so much fun!! Driving a golf cart instead of a car makes you one with the island. You are moving slower so you can see and experience more. We made several stops... before getting caught in a crazy storm that came out of nowhere!! We took shelter in a restaurant and decided we might as well grab an early dinner while there. White Perch is a specialty in the Great Lakes so a fried fish sandwich was perfect! After our explorations in town, we headed to our campsite on Put-In-Bay at South Bass Island State Park Campground. The rain started up again so we were trapped in the RV for the night. But we did see a bunch of emergency vehicles come to help an RV that caught fire in the rainstorm... The next morning, we grabbed a fabulous breakfast in Marblehead and had to check out the lighthouse while we were there. On to Michigan! #putinbay #keywest #rvlife Please SUBSCRIBE, Comment, Like, Share & Follow! *Download our 101 Cruise Tips* http://bit.ly/3JfY0Rd *Check out our travel & camera gear on Amazon* https://www.amazon.com/shop/eecctravels This link has all of the camera gear we use to create our videos!!
