Shark Encounter and Dunn's River Falls (FA09) On our recent Disney Treasure cruise, we did the Disney Cruise Line excursion, Shark Encounter and Dunn's River Falls. Once we were escorted off the ship, we met with our guide and headed off to our first stop, Dunn's River Falls. It was about an hour drive from Falmouth, during our drive, we learned about some of the different parishes, and drove through the birthplaces of Bob Marley and other celebrities. It was then time to climb the falls, this was an amazing experience! We were led up the falls by a guide and a photographer snapped photos of us along the way. We were able to take our own photos and video without issue. We weren't able to use changing rooms or lockers prior to our climb, we had to leave all of our belongings on our bus. Be prepared to have your swimwear on and make sure to have water shoes! You may want to have cash or a card on you as well, they will try to get you to purchase photos, and your guide will want a tip (ours followed us to our bus for the passengers to tip him). After the falls, it was a short drive to Dolphin Cove where we would have a shark encounter. When we first arrived, we were led into their gift shop where it was encouraged to purchase our photos ahead of time (they would be at a discount). Before our shark encounter, we were led to a dining room where lunch was served to us. Our lunch consisted of chicken and rice; beverages were available for an additional charge. After our lunch, we were given life jackets and escorted to the pool. They were out of lockers, and we were told to just leave our things on a park bench. Our group was split into two, our group was led to the shark tank where we had an encounter with a nurse shark. Our encounter was brief, every person got to pet and hold the shark, and a photo was taken, no duo or group photos, just individual. After everyone had their photo taken, we were escorted out of the shark tank and were led into a tank with a stingray. The encounter with the stingray was the same and after, we were escorted out of the pool. We were then invited to go look at and possibly purchase our photos. We then had about an hour to explore the grounds, there was a small petting zoo area where you could feed rabbits and birds (for a fee) and have a photo op with an iguana and parrots (for a fee). We spent the rest of our time at the pool area, we didn't go swimming but just hung out in the lounge chairs. It was then time for us to board our bus for our trip back to port. #disney #disneyvlogging #disneytreasure #treasure #disneycruise #jamaica #excursion #falmouth #dunnsriverfalls #shark #sharkencounter Email: KABItreks@gmail.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/KabiTreks/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kabi_treks/# Patreon: www.patreon.com/KABITreks
