DISNEY TREASURE Keel Laying + Coin Ceremony

On March 30, the keel-laying ceremony for the DISNEY TREASURE (IMO 9834741) was celebrated at the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. The DISNEY TREASURE as second Triton class ship will be a sister ship to the DISNEY WISH, which was delivered in 2022. Traditionally, a commemorative coin was placed under the keel. This time, this honor went to Philippe Genotte, Portfolio Project Management Executive at Walt Disney Imagineering Germany. Like her sister ship, the DISNEY TREASURE will be powered by LNG. She will have a gross tonnage of 144,000 and is scheduled for delivery in 2024.
