While in Ketchikan we participated in the Disney Cruise Line excursion Wilderness Exploration and Crab Feast. We boarded a bus at the port and took a scenic drive to our destination, George Inlet Lodge. At George Inlet Lodge, we boarded a boat that took us around the sound. During our trip, we passed former canning factories and beautiful scenery. We eventually wound up in a crab pot field where we pulled up a crab pot and learned a lot of information about Dungeness Crab. Bill got to hold one and even wore one as a hat! We released the crabs in the pot before heading back to the lodge. Along the way, we came across and eagle and our guide even threw out some food for the eagle to catch, it was so cool! Once we arrived back to the lodge, it was time for some lunch. We started with a small salad and a beverage before the main event, eating Dungeness Crab! The crew came by with multiple crab legs for us to feast on, we also participated in a crab stacking contest. Our table didn't even come close to winning, let's just say there were a couple of other tables that really got creative with their stacking. A slice of blueberry cheesecake rounded out our meal. No excursion is complete without a trip to the gift shop where Kari did some shopping before climbing up 79 stairs with very full bellies. We then boarded our bus for our trip back to Ketchikan. #disney #disneyvlogging #disneycruise #alaskacruise #alaska #travel #ketchikan #dungenesscrab #crab #alaska Email: KABItreks@gmail.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/KabiTreks/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kabi_treks/# Patreon: www.patreon.com/KABITreks
