Creator's Key Takeaways

This is a lovely, comfortable room.

It's good swimming, good for children because it's shallow here at the beginning.

Orphino, we had dinner there last night and it was excellent.

What a massage on the beach listening to the waves. That would be fabulous.

YouTube Video Description

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya is a family-friendly, all-inclusive resort located in a secure, gated marina community, known for its calm cove-protected, shallow waters, spacious rooms, and exceptionally friendly staff. It is ideal for young families, though some guests find the property slightly dated, the food average, and the beach area small with limited sandy lounging space. Located in a protected cove, the water is calm and shallow, making it perfect for small children, paddle boarding, and snorkeling and the rocky formation helps to keep the seaweed away The 305 rooms are large, comfortable, and often feature great views. I really enjoyed my room and slept well and loved the pillows and there are connecting rooms. The resort does not use wristbands or require restaurant reservations, allowing for a more relaxed feel. Situated inside a secure, gated community (Puerto Aventuras) this resort is integrated into the marina, making it easy for guests to walk to the docks, shops, and restaurants. This is a 4 to 4.5 star resort. Why do I say this? It was built in 1983, and had modest renos in 2021. The food is good, not great. Premium alcohol choices are limited, the Preferred |Club is small with no lounge area, no lobby bar, and limited dining options. This does not mean you won't have a great vacation or Destination Weddings, but know it is not the same quality as other Dreams properties. Golf: features an on-site, 9-hole golf course in the gated community of Puerto Aventuras, perfect for a quick round, with additional world-class 18-hole courses located within a short 10-25 minute drive. Marina and Boating Activities: this marina is a hub for sailing, fishing charters, and catamaran tours, often departing just steps from the hotel. The drive from Cancun airport is about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Have you been to these resorts? Let me know in the comments.
