It is my first time ever in Ensenada, Mexico and I am here as a port on Carnival Firenze. This is a charming Mexican city! And what a better way to see it than on a city tour in a private tuk-tuk!!! We go all over seeing the city, the ocean, an amazing overlook, a winery and ending with tacos!! What a perfect day!! We had the option of being dropped off by the ship or in the shopping area so we chose the later. In our walk back, we found a street market selling all kinds of local deliciousness!! If you have not had local elote, you haven’t really been to Mexico! This stuff is amazing!! And for sweets we had fruit filled crepes and, of course, churros!!! All was so good!! On the last night of the cruise on an Italian ship, I had to have dinner in the Italian specialty restaurant Il Viaggio and this was hands down the best meal of the cruise!!
