In this episode we are in Ensenada Mexico. We are doing a self guided food and Margarita tour. It was a holiday so we did run into some places being closed but we still had a fantastic time. Come along on the journey. List of places we ate at or tried to go to: - Tacos Fenix - started the Baja Taco and was our favorite stop - Casa Marcelo (closed) - if not able to make it to La Cave de Marcelo in Ojos Negros for a cheese tasting in the largest cheese caves in Latin America then this is a great place to try the cheese. - La Fromagerie - small cheese place that we found. We were able to try cheese from la Cava de Marcelo. And then we got some wine right behind this building. - Cantina Hussongs (closed) - 1st Margarita? Story goes that the bartender was trying new tequila drinks when a daughter of a German ambassador walked in and tried his cocktail. They named it after her (Margarita) - Sabina - Seafood tostadas. Was started as a food cart and later she opened a restaurant. Her seafood tostadas have been proclaimed to be the best tostadas in the world by none other than Anthony Bourdain. - Riviera Cultural Center... Bar Andaluz - 1st Margarita? Story goes that the bartender was tasked with making a new cocktail by the owner the Margarita King!
