This hidden gem is just north of Osaka, less than an hour from Osaka Station and accessible via train. Hiking this trail gave Studio Ghibli vibes! This hike is along the Muko River between the Namaze and Takedao train stations. It used to be a railway itself, but was later converted to a hiking trail. It is beautiful, serene, and an easy level hike. It can take between 2.5 to 3 hours to complete. One will go through 6-7 dark tunnels (no lighting). So if you plan to go, make sure to bring a strong flashlight. Most visitors to Osaka will not know about this trail. Now that you know about it, hopefully you can plan a visit here and enjoy a memorable walk through Japan's natural beauty, away from the crowds and concrete jungles. #japan #osaka #hike #hiking #river #nature #studioghibli #japantravel #japanlife #worldtravel #travel #nature #naturelovers #tourism
