Join us for an exhilarating walking tour of Galway, Ireland! It’s day 5 of our thrilling 10-day cruise around Ireland from Southampton, UK aboard the Norwegian Star. We tender into the vibrant Galway Docks and stroll to the bustling city center to immerse ourselves in all the wonders The Latin Quarter has to offer. We wander past Forthill Graveyard, pop into Saint Augustine's Catholic Church, snap a pic with the Galway Girl Statue on Quay Street, and explore the Aran Sweater Market. For lunch, we indulge at The Quays Bar and Restaurant with some scrumptious Irish food and drinks. Afterward, we meander along the picturesque River Corrib to admire Spanish Arch, Spanish Parade, and The Long Walk. We dive into history at the Hall of the Red Earl, stroll to Eyre Square to see the John F. Kennedy Monument, and marvel at Lynch's Castle and the Oscar Wilde Statue. Later, we kick off a mini pub crawl at Monroe's Tavern, soaking in authentic jazz music and dancing, before making a quick stop at The Dail Bar on our way back to the ship. But wait! Before we reach the Docks, we meet a delightful slate artist and his two charming border collies.
