The walk into town from the cruise port is very straight-forward. Most of the sights are grouped together, so it doesn't take long to see the majority of the must-see places. Souvenirs are plentiful just off the cruise pier, so if you're not up for a walk in to town... you're good! Tour kiosks are also available right off the ship. They're plentiful, and very well organized. There's really no need to book costly cruise line excursions to experience the best of Haugesund. The walk in to the city center is just 15-20 minutes from the pier over a bridge, and most of the shops, restaurants, and attractions are located within a four block area.
