This week I escaped my backyard and am taking you on one of my favorite, most scenic walks in LA - Lake Hollywood! Despite living only a few miles away for years, I hadn't been here until recently. When I finally did go it was as gorgeous as I'd hoped, and I want to share it with you all. This is a FANTASTIC place to spend an afternoon, so if you're local to the area, be sure to head by. And the next time you visit LA it's perfect to put on your sightseeing schedule - we do love to get out and walk around here! Hollywood Reservoir, also known as Lake Hollywood, is a reservoir located in the Hollywood Hills, situated in the Santa Monica Mountains north of the Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. It is maintained by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. The reservoir and surrounding neighborhood are overlooked by the Hollywood Sign. The reservoir is created by the Mulholland Dam, built in 1924, designed by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, then named the Bureau of Water Works and Supply, as part of the city's water storage and supply system I know travel is confusing right now, so I'm also answering all of your pressing questions concerning where we can travel, how to travel, quarantine, safety procedures, etc. So you get a gorgeous view, see an off-the-beaten-path area of Los Angeles and get some information, too! I hope you like this video - let me know in the comments. And please, like and share away! If you have other travel questions, I'm here to help! Lost?
