Flying Over the Rainforest! Skyrail Rainforest Cableway & Butterfly House | Cairns, Australia

From the port of Cairns, Australia, we took flight on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway in the Daintree Rainforest, the oldest rainforest in the world. We had incredible views of the treetops and the surrounding area, plus a bird's eye view of Barron Falls. The Skyrail is 8 km long and has two stops. At the first, we walked a boardwalk in the rainforest and learned about the trees. The second stop had lookouts over the enormous Barron Falls, which is multi-level. We could also see the scenic train that stops at Barron Falls. We searched for crocodiles in the Barron River before the ride ended at Kuanda Village. There, we got coffee and bought souvenirs, but the big attraction is the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary. The sanctuary is filled with butterflies, flying around and landing near guests on leaves and at food stations. They were beautiful. The end the video, I walked around the Cairns Cruise Terminal and a small park in front of it. We really enjoyed Cairns and would love to go back, it's a great place with so much to do.
