YouTube Video Description

CORRECTION!!! A watcher pointed out that I repeatedly made the error of calling the city in the Cars movies "Radiator Falls." It should, of course, be "RADIATOR SPRINGS!" Thank you, Robert! Getting Our Kicks on Route 66 in Seligman, Arizona! This short video started as a piece on Seligman, Arizona, but morphed into more of a bit on Route 66, the iconic Mother Road of the USA, as I dug into the history of that highway. My hometown of Bloomington, Illinois, was located on old Route 66. Still, as kids growing up in the 50s and 60s, we hardly noticed when it was decommissioned in 1985 and was functionally replaced by Interstates 55 and 39 in 1979 and 1986, respectively. I have supplied some links to several interesting about Seligman and Route 66 below. I have also posted a transcript of the narration in a separate comment section If you want to see more of this content, please LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and RING THE NOTIFICATION BELL! There is a lot more content on the way, so stay tuned! Safe and Happy Travels!
