Mein Schiff 2 sailing cruise ship UPDATES (English)// In this video we share updates and news from one of the first cruise ships starting to sail since cruises were suspended. Mein Schiff 2 is part of TUI cruises which sailed out of Hamburg, Germany in late July 2020. A joint venture with Royal Caribbean Group, the Mein Schiff 2 cruise ship did a 3 day cruise, sailing with a reduced passenger capacity of 1200 people. However, this cruise ship is still a BIG ship, and has a capacity of 2900. As cruise passengers, we can learn a lot from how this cruise went, and what changes to cruising we saw on board this cruise ship. In this video, we review the changes we saw, and go over the experience on board, based on videos, vlogs and articles about this cruise experience on the Mein Schiff 2. This update is in English. We go through questions cruisers have, such as: "Was the buffet self serve?" "Did people have to wear masks on the cruise ship?" "Were people social distancing?" "What was the pool or lido deck like?" "Was there testing on board and medical facilities?" "Was the cruise experience good?" In this video we also share some good news for the future of cruising - Greece is welcoming cruises back to it's 6 cruise ports, which is positive news for how cruising can start up again when it's safe. Although this cruise ship was sailing in Europe, and other cruises have sailed in Asia as well, it does give us information for what we can expect for cruising when it starts up again.
