Grandeur of the Seas: Cozumel, Mexico (Arrival & Departure with AIDABella, MSC Divina, & Carnival)

On January 15th, 2014 the Grandeur of the Seas reached her first port of call, Cozumel Mexico. In the early hours of that day she sailed past the Costa Luminosa who was on her way back home after a call at Cozumel the previous day. As the Grandeur sailed between the main land and Cozumel she followed the AIDABella who docked first at the northern pier at 6am. The Grandeur then continued down and for her 6am (7am ship time) arrival. The sun rose shortly after both ships made their nighttime arrival lighting the way for the Carnival Conquest to pull in near the Grandeur at 8:30am. The MSC Divina then arrived to the north and docked next to the AIDABella at 10:30am. Finally the Carnival Ecstasy made an afternoon arrival at 1:30pm across from the Grandeur. The sea conditions were on the rougher side all day resulting in most water excursions being canceled and the winds were continuously blowing making things on land not so pleasant either. Later in the dat the Grandeur was then the first to depart at 4:00pm under increasingly rough and windy conditions.
