The 2016 Harmony of the Seas transatlantic crossed the months of October and November, which meant it featured the ships first ever Halloween at sea. To celebrate the entertainment staff onboard decorated the Royal Promenade to celebrate the day with a Halloween Spooktacular Party that night. The main event of the party was the costume contest featuring the guests onboard. Following the costume the band returned to play music for a half hour before the winning costumes were announced, and then the main event of the night the giant balloon drop all the way down the Royal promenade. Following that the band continued to play for a few more hours.
