Holland America Caribbean Buffet Dinner - Once a Cruise (4K)

During our December 2017 Caribbean cruise aboard the Holland America Eurodam, there was a special buffet night. It was called the Caribbean Buffet and happened only one time during the cruise. We did not see these during our Alaska cruise on the MS Amsterdam, so this apparently is only unique to the Caribbean itineraries. The highlights were: * Cumin & Chili Crusted Lamb Chops * The fascinating Ceviche Bar- the first we have ever seen on a cruise * Grilled Shrimp * Caribbean Seafood Jambalaya in Cast Iron Pot * Caribbean Rum Cake Other dishes included: * Bajan Fried Chicken * Baked Chicken Rigatoni with Poblano Cream * Berry Snow Cap * Caribbean Boudin & Andouille Sausage * Cheese & Fruit Plate * Cobia Caponata * Jamaican Callaloo & Bean Soup * Jamican Rice & Beans * Junkanoo Chicken Salad * Lemon Cream Cake * Mango, Bamboo Shoot Salad * Pork Belly * Roasted Bell Peppers with Trinidad Style Fried Rice * Rum Baba * Scallops with Avocado & Mango * Various tropical fruits such as pineapple & papaya * Strawberry Duff * Tofu Kebabs * Yankee Pot Roast If you are going on a Western or Eastern Caribbean cruise with Holland America, don't miss this special buffet! There was no lobster in the buffet for this cruise, but the various ceviche, the delicious lamb chops and various seafood dishes made up for it. #hollandamerica
