Date Filmed: August 26, 2020 Walt Disney World! We missed you!!! This is our first visit to a Walt Disney World park since the COVID-19 shut down in March 2020! A lot has changed since our last visit but we are excited to be back! In order to enter a Disney park right now you must secure a park reservation ahead of time. Today we are at Hollywood Studios checking out the current operations and attempting to try new rides! Because this park has two new popular rides, Rise of the Resistance and Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, Hollywood Studios park reservations are of the highest demand. We had a blast riding Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway for the first time! It is a very colorful and whimsical family ride which makes it a great addition to this park! Unfortunately, we were unable to ride Rise of the Resistance. Rise is only accessible via virtual queue that is reserved on the My Disney Experience App. You may make a Rise reservation at 10am and 2pm. Both reservation times sold out IMMEDIATELY! It is definitely a coin flip situation of whether or not you will be able to ride this attraction during your visit. For the rest of the day, we had a great time trying tasty foods at Docking Bay 7 and revisiting some of our favorite rides. Today was a great return to Disney and we can't wait for many more magical days in the future!
