Creator's Key Takeaways

We booked our shore excursion through the cruise line and it's called Highlights of Hong Kong and that's a really good title for that because all we have time for are some of the highlights.

I'm crushed in here with a bazillion people, but look up at the ceiling. So, at least we have a pretty view.

But at one point I realized that if you want a good view of the city, you should try for one of the seats on the right hand side of the tram.

This used to be a major fishing village. Row after row of small fishing boats are on my right.

Creator's Tips & Advice

Try to get a seat on the right-hand side of the tram for better views.
Visit Stanley Market for souvenirs, but explore deeper for better prices.

YouTube Video Description

What can you do in port for part of a day? I will show you our tour, "The Highlights of Hong Kong." We rode the funicular to the top of Victoria Peak to look around and see views of Victoria Harbor, Went to Aberdeen to take a sampan ride in the harbor which was once a major fishing village, stopped at a "jewelry manufacturer" (actually just a store) and walked around Stanley Market.
