How to get to Downtown SEATTLE from AIRPORT: SEATTLE LINK LIGHT RAIL explains how the airport light rail works at the SEA-TAC airport. Getting to downtown Seattle fro the Airport is simple and easy from the baggage claim section of the Sea-Tac Airport. We happened to be there for a super long layover, 10 hours. We are flying to Orlando for a cruise and Alaska Airlines routed us through Seattle. The price is right, but the layover is LONG! We enjoy the Alaska Airlines lounge for $25 per person (we have the Alaska Airlines Credit Card) that gives us in and out priviledges all day! An awesome find! The light rail is inexpensive $3.00 each way and if you are able to walk a bit, the best station to get near Pike's Market and the water would be the WESTLAKE station. It takes awhile, an hour each way. **********An uber is $50 one way. You can buy your ticket with a credit card or cash. It is an honor system, no one checked our ticket and you do not need to scan it in the turnstile. I like the variety of my day, some Alaska lounge and some urban sights. It's easy to do and make sure you are going in the direction of NORTHLAKE FROM THE AIRPORT and ANGLE LAKE TO THE AIRPORT. Follow my journey on MSC MERAVIGLIA in my upcoming videos!
