It's a Sea Day before Holland America Nieuw Statendam arrives in Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos tomorrow morning. What to do on a ship with limited entertainment options?... Make your own fun! We get to meet Clare, the ship's dynamic Cruise Director, and Captain Henk Draper (from the Netherlands), or ship's dry Ship Captain. But before that, we get a surprise visit from one of the ship's dining managers while drinking our morning coffee in The Crow's Nest. (How'd he even know where we'd be???) After brunch at the New York Deli, we met some new friends from a Facebook group for a fun bar crawl of 5 different bars on board. Later, we listen to dueling pianos (of sorts) at Billboard Onboard, then try out the Rolling Stone Rock Room one more time and finish up with more dueling pianos before calling it a night.
