While he admits that some ships will have different vaccine requirements, he defended not making them mandatory. As part of the CEO's rationale, he referenced the Florida law banning businesses from mandating proof of vaccination. Still, other cruise lines in the group, including Celebrity Cruises, are requiring cruisers to have vaccines. Celebrity Edge is set to sail from Florida on June 26th. This cruise is requiring all adults aged 16 or older to be vaccinated. He argues that the cruise line does not need to mandate vaccines for cruises. This is because most who cruise with the cruise line will be vaccinated anyway. So, Royal Caribbean cruise vaccination policy will not require all passengers have the shots. Thus, for the U.S. sailings, Royal Caribbean cruises will not require vaccines.
