I've just returned from a preview cruise on Icon of the Seas, Royal Caribbean's brand new cruise ship which yesterday set sail on its maiden voyage. Royal Caribbean knows how to build a ship with wow factor and this is the biggest cruise ship in the world. My cabin was balcony cabin #8152 which is on deck 8 forward - you can see the bridge from its balcony. This video offers a full tour of the cabin and an inside look, checking out the bed, decor sheets, storage space, shelves, cupboards, electric and USB sockets as well as the balcony and bathroom and lounge area. The cabin is very colourful with nice splashes of colour and Icon has some touches new to Royal Caribbean in cabins from the shower (which is bigger than normal and comes with a seat inside) to baskets in the cupboard drawer to a safe (it took me ages to find it!) which is hidden behind the full-length mirror!! This cabin can sleep four and has a really large sofa which converts into a bed which is great...
