"Independence of the Seas" & "Celebrity Eclipse" together in Southampton - 28/09/2011

Two of Southampton's regular 'Giants' were both in port together for what could be the very first time on Wednesday 28th September 2011. Berth 101/The 'City' Cruise Terminal's most frequent users are 'Royal Caribbean International's M/S "Independence of the Seas" and 'Celebrity Cruises' M/S "Celebrity Eclipse". Both ships were in Southampton Docks together meaning that only one of them could use the 'City' Terminal. "Independence of the Seas" ended up docked in the 'City' Terminal whilst "Celebrity Eclipse" had to make do with the 'Ocean' Terminal. Due to other commitments and departure times, I was only able to see "Independence of the Seas" depart. "Celebrity Eclipse" departed some time afterwards.
