Come with us on our adventures as we attempt to "do Italy" on a P&O Cruise. Our 5th and final port stop was Naples. The History nut in Si made him determined to get tp see the ruins of Pompeii whilst here. P&O excursions to Pompeii were sold oit well in advance of the Cruise...except one ..."Pompeii and Naples through the lens". The description of a guided walking tour by a guide that would take you to the best photo stops in both Pompeii and Naples seemed too good to be true but we booked it to take the hastle of finding our own way to Pompeii. And whilst the tour didnt work out as we intended we did have a great if rushed day exploring both Pompeii and Naples. Pompeii is a WOW place!!! And after this day we made a promise to come to this area and explore more. We ended the day sailing out passed the islands of Capri and Ischia for a gorgeous sunset and the ship was heading back to Malta. But will there be time for one more adventure on this trip?
