Creator's Key Takeaways

I was looking forward to arriving at the impressive Cruise terminal in clang but sadly I wouldn't get to see it until later in the day

we would definitely recommend doing that especially if you're visiting the hill on the cruise ship where your time ass sure is limited

it is somewhere I would recommend visiting although if you can I would do it on your own

puket has lots to offer and much of it can be simply enjoyed on foot from the tender Port so it's well worth visiting in our opinion

Creator's Tips & Advice

Buy premium tickets for the Penang Hill funicular to skip queues and save time

YouTube Video Description

Hello and welcome to the 2nd part of our Singapore to Mumbai repositioning cruise trip report onboard the Celebrity Millennium. So far, we have enjoyed a short stay in Singapore and have set sail for Malaysia. In this second part, we visit the port of Klang (for Kuala Lumpur) and the city of Georgetown on the island of Penang which are both in Malaysia before heading north to the island of Phuket in Thailand where we dropped anchor off of Patong beach. We enjoyed a day trip to Kuala Lumpur from Port Klang where we visited the KLCC including the Petronas Towers, the Saloma Link Bridge and the shopping centres of Bukit Bintang. We also enjoyed an overnight stay on the island of Penang where we took the funicular up Penang Hill to visit Habitat on Penang Hill before taking the bus to explore the Kek Lok Si Buddhist temple. After a walk-through Ayer Itam, we visited The Top and the Kimberley Street night food market before exploring George Town, Penang on our 2nd day. There we visited the numerous Penang Jetties, walk around the Penang street art and visited many sites including the Kapitan Keling Mosque, the Goddess of Mercy Temple and Armenian Street. The final part of this video looks at our day onshore on the island of Phuket, where we headed to the mainland for a jungle boat ride to Phang Nga Bay and Panyi Village. Back on Phuket Island in Thailand, we walked around Patong Beach including a visit to the Malin Plaza market, the iconic Bangla Road and the Patong Beach cruise port come tender drop off.
