There are a lot of Disney Cruise Line updates happening right now. Most recently, Disney did a virtual unveiling of the brand new, up and coming fifth ship, The Disney Wish! The ship looks magnificent, and that is just a virtual tour! We can only imagine what it will look like once complete, especially in person! There was so much to unpack in the video Disney debuted on their YouTube channel for the unveiling of the Disney Wish. As we suspected from early on, the Disney Wish will have a Princess theme. Will it be throughout the entire ship? The atrium lobby? The restaurants? Tune in to find out. Disney showed the FIRST EVER attraction at sea! It looked AMAZING! It is something never done before and looks like a once in a lifetime experience. Being able to ride a water slide while also experiencing the antics of Mickey and Minnie, that looks like a good time! Some other things we were excited to see were the kid zones (we think Winnie will love these). There was Fairytale Hall where children can paint with Rapunzel, read along side Belle in Belle's library, or hangout with Anna and Elsa in their Sommerhaus. Kids can also train alongside Marvel heroes like Spiderman, Black Panther, Antman and the Wasp in the Avengers Academy. And if that's not enough, you can also design your very own rollercoaster and ride it virtually. Too bad this is all for kids only! But there is also plenty for adults like the adult only pools at Quiet Cove, The Hyperion Lounge which is a Star Wars inspired experience, and The Rose, a place for adults to grab before and/or after dinner drinks and enjoy the Beauty and the Beast Ambiance. It seems like The Wish has something for everyone! Disney did say that this was only the beginning and that there would be much more revealed at a later time. We cannot wait to see what is next! When will the Disney Cruise Line reopen? Will it be in 2021? 2022? It is looking more and more like it will be Fall of 2021. According to Bob Chapek, CEO of The Walt Disney Company, The Disney Cruise Line should be setting sail later this year. Time will tell.
