About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

I've just come back from a cruise on Marella Discovery, one of Marella Cruises five cruise ships. ALL their ships are all-inclusive and house drinks are available for everyone and included in the cruise fare. However, there are 'premium' drinks available to purchase or a premium package to buy at £90 ($115USD) a week to upgrade and I thought I'd do a video review of all the different drinks available and try all the main included house wines - the red, white and rose - as well as the house beer. I also tried a couple of pay-for cocktails (they're really inexpensive) as well as a premium wine to see what the difference was (I was a fan of the Bordeaux). But honestly, there's SO much choice available within the included drinks options that I'm not certain the upgrade to the premium package is worth it - although if you really fancy premium brands then it is, because £90 a week isn't that much anyway... I asked the Hotel Manager (because I was interested) how many people upgrade to the premium package and he said it was less than a quarter, so most people seem happy with the all-inclusive offering. Anyway, this video is to help you make up your mind. Also, I LOVED the Five O'Clock Tea cocktail I tried - I've never had one before and it was delicious! A also tried a Smokey Old Fashioned cocktail which was nice, although I'm not a major whisky fan....cheers to you all and hope you find this video useful!
