Creator's Key Takeaways
this was supposed to be a three-day cruise to the Bahamas over Labor Day weekend but it's turned into a five-day Western Caribbean cruise at a three-day price thanks to Hurricane durian
the ship headed west to Mexico and we visited Costa Maya and Cozumel instead
the best cruise we've ever been on but I'd give it a solid 8 on a 10 scale
I think Royal Caribbean made a very smart move with el loco fresh serving casual Mexican food buffet style and at no additional charge

This is the story of what happened when we flew to Florida for a 3-day cruise on Royal Caribbean's "Navigator Of The Seas" at the exact same time that Hurricane Dorian was moving in to the area. We had expected to sail to the Bahamas, but since that's exactly where the hurricane was headed, the cruise ship headed in the complete opposite direction to stay out of danger. The surprise was that this required our scheduled 3-day cruise to be extended to a 5-day cruise, but all at the original 3-day price. They even gave us a $300 credit towards a future cruise for the disruption to our plans. In this video, I give you a full review of the ship following her recent $115,000,000 makeover which added numerous new features to this 17 year old cruise liner and brought the most important parts of the ship up to the standards of a brand-new cruise ship. She now has one of the best pool decks of any ocean liner, as well as some fantastic new waterslides. Because this video was not sponsored by Royal Caribbean and I paid my way at my own expense, I was free to give an honest review of the ship including both the good and the bad things I noticed about the ship.
