YouTube Video Description

--~-- Week 4 of My Journey With Prostate Cancer was all wrapped up on Monday morning at my appointment with Dr Valente, the urologist on my team. While I had hoped to get results from last week's biopsy, the main focus of the agenda was the removal of the Foley Catheter. That accomplished, I was sent home with instructions to resume normal activities, but to drink an excess amount of fluids, and return Monday afternoon to ascertain that urinary function had been restored. Unfortunately, by 2PM, I know that the catheter needed to be reinserted as I could not urinate at all. So, I inherited another month with the Foley which brought about a couple days of depression. Nothing else happened during week 4. Week 5 will start Monday afternoon with a meeting with my oncologist, Dr. Jenkins, a report on the biopsy, probably my first Lupron shot, and more information on the available treatment options.
